Within the UK

The mail order service was limited to Hemerocallis and Irises, but now this is in the process of changing. We are also now happy to send out those plants listed on the catalogue page where a price is given. The total cost will be the price of the plants shown on the webpages together with the following postal charges for addresses in the UK:

For Hemerocallis and Irises:
1-2 plants:     £3
3 to 6 plants:     £5
7 plants or more:     £7

For other herbaceous plants     £7

The higher cost for general herbaceous plants arises from our preference to despatch plants with their root balls intact as far as possible. The irises and daylilies have much stronger root systems and therefore we can shake off some of the compost to reduce weight.

The plants are usually despatched at the beginning of the week following receipt of the order. Cheques should be made payable to Aulden Farm and should be sent to: Aulden Farm, Aulden, Leominster, Herefordshire HR6 0JT. We suggest that you send a limit cheque so that if we have sold out of a particular variety we can reduce the amount accordingly. Of course, you may wish us to substitute, if so please let us know as we do not automatically assume it.

Outside of the UK

We do supply mail order to the rest of the European Community Countries, but insist upon payment in sterling and in cheques or bankers orders drawn on banks in the UK. We have had bank charges as high as £40 for clearing cheques drawn on banks outside the UK and this is clearly not economic. The simplest method of paying is probably via the paypal system (see www.paypal.com for details) - using this method customers can pay by credit card without any additional charges - please check their website for current terms. We have used this method for sometime now with good experience. Please email us for details of our paypal account. To keep the international postal charges low, we wash the compost from the plant roots to make the parcel lighter and the plants must therefore be planted as soon as possible once they are received. The current postal rates are as follows:-

For upto 5 plants:     £6
For each additional plant:     £1.20
